IK Multimedia announced the release of Syntronik, a virtual instrument based on 38 vintage synthesizers. These include legendary instruments such as the Minimoog Model D, ARP 2600, Oberheim SEM, Yamaha CS-80, Alesis Andromeda, Roland Juno-60 and Roland Jupiter-8. In a press release, the developer calls Syntronik the most advanced collection of vintage synthesizers available today. 17 instruments with over two thousand presets; multisampled oscillators for maximum authenticity; four emulations of classic filters; exclusive DRIFT ™ technology that simulates the oscillator behavior of real hardware synthesizers; the possibility of layering up to four synth parts; four arpeggiators for creating complex rhythmic textures; an extensive arsenal of 38 high-quality effects; built-in browser for quick and easy navigation through presets; optimized mutable interface; sound compatibility with the virtual sampler SampleTank 3; the ability to use as a 64-bit plugin or stand-alone tool.
