Skanner XT is a virtual synthesizer for REAKTOR software (REAKTOR 5 PLAYER or REAKTOR 5, version 5.6.2 and higher, Mac or PC platform), combining sampler and synthesizer functions, built on a unique architecture developed by the creator of REAKTOR Stefan Schmitt. With two independent generators, SKANNER XT expands the richness of voices from powerful bass to fantastic unearthly sound textures. The innovative interface allows for sophisticated synthesis control and contains morph presets for further sound processing. In addition, it is optimized for easy connection to a MASHINE sampler. Despite the complex complex of processes taking place "under the hood" of SKANNER XT, the program is very easy to use. There are two ways to interact with the virtual synthesizer menu. Method "A" is characterized by the fact that a morphing process and four macrocontrollers are used, even a slight adjustment of which can entail significant changes. You can assign the controller to a common bass generator and simply work with the SKANNER XT. If you want to explore the SANNER XT architecture more deeply, method "B" provides access to additional parameters. In this mode, it is possible to switch the macro controller to the multi-parameter mode and fine-tune the sound in more detail and accurately. Using SKANNER XT with REAKTOR 5.6 software, you can overwrite existing samples yourself, adjusting their acoustic parameters during scanning. The heart of the interface is Morph Control - switching between eight saved scenes, which can be used to create unusual sounds and modern music. The controller allows you to adjust the morph speed and low frequency modulation. You can play live with the controller and change one timbre to another while recording your performance at the same time.
